ScalePad Lifecycle Manager integration
Reads your ScalePad client list and the purchase and warranty dates ScalePad Lifecycle Manager keeps for each client's hardware, about once a day, to sharpen the ageing-hardware finding. It uses the same ScalePad key you connect for Push to ScalePad on the Clients page. ScalePad keys can't be limited to reading, so our reading connection is built to only ever read. Sending a finding to ScalePad is separate and only happens when you click Push.
Setup steps are for connected customers — sign in to read them.
What we find in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager
Purchase and warranty dates per serial from Lifecycle Manager — the data our hardware signals lack — feeding the ageing-hardware finding. Read with the same ScalePad key as Push to ScalePad.
Every finding lands on your Client Upsell board as a named client with a number beside it — not a report you have to read.

- What does MSProspector find in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?
- Purchase and warranty dates per serial from Lifecycle Manager — the data our hardware signals lack — feeding the ageing-hardware finding. Read with the same ScalePad key as Push to ScalePad.
- Can the ScalePad Lifecycle Manager key make changes?
- ScalePad only makes Administrator-level API keys. It has no keys that are limited to reading, so the key you give us could make changes in your ScalePad account. One key, two jobs: the key you connect on the Clients page for Push to ScalePad is also the one we read with — your client list and each client's hardware purchase and warranty dates, about once a day. What we do about it: the connection that reads ScalePad for Client Upsell is built so it can only read. It has no way to add, change or delete anything, and that is checked automatically every time we release. Every read is listed in your read log. Sending is separate, and only on your click: when you use Push to ScalePad, the findings you picked are added as initiatives in Lifecycle Manager — once each, and only when you click Push. That is the only thing we ever add to ScalePad. What we recommend: make a ScalePad user just for MSProspector and create the key from it. Deactivating that user ends our access straight away.
